Attention rising 6th grade parents: We still have many students that have no T-dap vaccine verification on file at Moody. Thank you to those who’ve already completed this mandatory step in starting middle school. A booster dose of T-dap vaccine is required for all children entering the 6th grade. Without this vaccine verification on file at Moody, your child will not be able to start school on Tuesday, September 6. If you already had the booster at your elementary school, we will have that record in your health folder. If not, you must bring, fax, (515-1121), or email (mailto:pmdrumheller@henrico.k12.va.us) the shot record to Counseling before August 12th. If you have an appointment after the first day of school, we will need an appointment date that’s signed by the doctor. If you have any questions you may email or call the school registrar at 261-5019.

Dates for you Raider Calendar: 6th graders (students only) are invited to Raider, Set, Go! on Thursday, August 25th, from 9 to noon. Fee Afternoon is Thursday, September 1st, from 2 to 5pm. Moody’s Back to School Night will be the evening of Tuesday, September 20th.

The school counseling office is registering new students from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and is closed on Friday. If you are new to the area, please begin the process of registering your child by calling (804) 261-5019.
